Winds.

Ebon Vanguard Ritual. Create a level 4...10 Spirit. All foes within its range have 15% chance to miss with ranged attacks. This spirit dies after 54...90 seconds.

It's a good concept, but I think Aegis is better even in enchant stripping areas.

Why not make it buffed for a wide variety.

Ebon Vanguard Ritual. Create a level 4...10 Spirit. All foes within its range have 15% chance to miss with ranged attacks. All projectile spells and attacks move twice at fast. This spirit dies after 54...90 seconds.

This would be a buff for rangers/paragons in general, along with projectile spells. Not adding damage will still make it not overpowered. I just think 15% chance alone for only ranged attacks is kinda useless.

I know people aren't for buffing PvE skills, but can you honestly say this skill ruined pve?

I tried using that at Arachni's.

Pretty useless. Almost no effect.
The block% should scale with Ebon rank up to 25 or 33%. It affects only ranged attacks, after all.

/sign.

Duration of the spirit depending on the rank instead of the percentage of the foes missing is ridiculous. It's almost even insulting to have a skill like that.

I would like the percentage to go as high as 50% though.

50% is a bit overpowered, but 15% is barely even use-able lol

If I was able to have this skill in addition to my other 8 skills of choice I wouldn't even bother using it. Seriously, 15% is useless. 33% at R10 is about right.

Let's see...

Rank 0: Level 4, 10%, 54 seconds.
Rank 7: Level 8, 25%, 78 seconds.
Rank 10: Level 10, 33%, 90 seconds.

That should do the trick.

/agree on scaling. 15..33% depending on rank.

And make it into a Binding Ritual while at it, should have been from the start anyway as only Binding Rituals should differ between foes and allies.

Without changing its function ? yes , 33% is great. Anyway , i would change it into a earshot effect , something like :
Projectile and ranged attacks withing spirit earshot move twice as fast and are unblockable. For every Projectile and ranged attack thrown within spirit earshot , spirit loses 10 ... 6..... 2 HP .

Now that we are at it, why not using this model:

http://wiki.guildwars.com/images/6/6...rd_m_ghost.jpg
Instead a druid spirit, XD
That way it can keep being a Vanguard Ritual.
